Woodland and CQB airsoft site - Dorking, Surrey, UK 

GENERAL AIRSOFT RULES

​

This section is under development. Basic rules are provided, more details will be added. Please contact us for any questions or suggestions. 

​

1. Eye Protection (Mandatory)

  • Eye protection must be worn at all times in all active play areas.

  • Eye protection must meet recognised impact standards

  • Eye protection must be full seal or properly secured to prevent BB entry from angles.

  • Do not rely on untested or uncertified eyewear, including cheap or decorative goggles from online marketplaces.

 

2. Face Protection

  • Full face protection is strongly recommended for all players.

  • Dental injuries are considered player risk 

 

3. Take your hits 

  • A hit is any direct impact from a BB to:

    • Any part of your body

    • Any equipment attached to you (vests, pouches, backpacks, etc.)

  • Gun hits do count.

  • Ricochets do not count.

  • If you are unsure whether you were hit, you should take the hit.

  • When hit, shout “HIT” , raise an arm, and proceed to respawn.

  • Dead men do not talk.

5. Grenades 

  • Grenade kill radius: 3 metres in open areas unless behind a hard cover 

 

6. Shooting 

  • No blind firing: you must have a clear line of sight to your target before firing.

  • No keyhole shooting: do not fire through small gaps (e.g. gaps smaller than a standard sheet of paper).

  • You still can be shot through gaps by others.

 

7. Structures

  • Climbing on site structures is strictly prohibited.

 

8. Grenades, Mortars & Launchers

  • Reusable heavy grenades must be thrown underarm only (no overhand throws over barriers).

  • Tag rounds and mortar systems must be fired at a minimum 45° arc.

  • All pyrotechnic or gas devices must be presented to marshals and approved before the game.

 

9. Safe Zone 

Before entering the safe zone:

  • Remove magazines

  • Clear chambers

  • Gun safety on 

 

10. Conduct, Cheating & Disputes

  • No cheat calling

  • Any issues must be communicted to a marshal.

  • Marshals’ decisions are final during gameplay.

11. Footwear and trip hazards 

  • Players must wear sturdy boots with ankle support.

  • Trainers are discouraged.

  • When moving across the site, watch where you’re going — this is woodland with all sorts of trip hazards.

  • Do not jump or run if you cannot see where you are stepping.

  • Do not jump into water, as it may be shallower or deeper than you think.

11. Media & Photography

  • Photography and video recording may take place for site promotion.

  • If you do not wish to be identifiable, wear a full-face mask

GUN LIMITS

​

  • All guns must be chronographed by marshals before gameplay and may be re-tested at any time.

  • All guns must comply with the site FPS limits table.

 

Weapon Classes

​

Assault Rifles (AEGs / GBBRs)

  • Full-auto allowed unless indicated otherwise by marshals.

  • Full-auto must be used responsibly and never excessively at close range.

 

DMRs

  • Semi-auto only.

  • Minimum engagement distance: 30m.

 

Sniper Rifles

  • Bolt-action or programmed for 2 seconds delay.

  • Minimum engagement distance: 30m.

  • Snipers must wear a secondary weapon and use it on distances less than 30m.
